Built within real schools, not in a closed lab.
Siamo entrati in sei scuole, internazionali e paritarie: abbiamo osservato il lavoro di segreterie, aule e presidenza, annotato le procedure una per una e ascoltato chi usa questi strumenti ogni giorno. Molte delle scelte che trovate in School Manager vengono da quel confronto.
We went into six schools, international and independent: we observed the work of front offices, classrooms and school leadership, documented procedures one by one and listened to the people who use these tools every day. Many of the choices you will find in School Manager come from that dialogue.

Schools need tools that talk to each other.
Cambiare gestionale non basta se restano gli stessi passaggi, gli stessi controlli e la stessa fatica, solo con un'interfaccia nuova. Il problema spesso è la frammentazione: ogni parte del lavoro vive in uno strumento diverso e i dati non si aggiornano insieme.
Con School Manager abbiamo preso la strada opposta: siamo partiti dalle operazioni che la scuola svolge ogni giorno, le abbiamo seguite dall'inizio alla fine, abbiamo capito dove si incrociano e le abbiamo collegate tra loro.
Switching to a new system is not enough if the same steps, the same checks and the same effort remain, just behind a new interface. The real problem is often fragmentation: each part of the work lives in a different tool, and the data does not update together.
With School Manager we took the opposite route: we started from the tasks a school carries out every day, followed them from start to finish, understood where they meet and connected them.

Pensiamo a un nuovo iscritto. In molte scuole i suoi dati vengono ricopiati nel gestionale della segreteria, nel registro, nell'orario, negli elenchi per le comunicazioni alle famiglie. Ogni passaggio richiede qualche minuto, e ogni copia è un'occasione in più per sbagliare: un recapito errato, una classe assegnata male, un nome scritto in due modi diversi.
Think of a newly enrolled student. In many schools their details are copied into the front office system, the register, the timetable and the lists used for family communications. Each step takes a few minutes, and every copy is one more chance for a mistake: a wrong contact, a class assigned incorrectly, a name spelled two different ways.

La segreteria inserisce l'anagrafica una volta sola. Da quel momento lo studente è già nella sua classe, nelle sue materie, nel registro e, a fine periodo, nella pagella. La segreteria invita la famiglia, che riceve il proprio accesso. Se cambia un recapito, basta aggiornarlo in un punto e il cambiamento arriva ovunque.
The front office enters the student's record just once. From then on the student is already in their class, their subjects, the register and, at the end of the term, the report card. The front office invites the family, who receive their own login. If a contact detail changes, it is updated in one place and the change reaches everywhere.
Nessuno deve ricopiare gli stessi dati, e si riduce significativamente il rischio di errori di trascrizione.
Nobody has to copy the same data again, and the risk of transcription errors drops significantly.

The system cross-checks availability, timetables and school constraints on its own, and the search takes much less time.
07 · Dall'iscrizione alla pagellaFrom enrolment to report card
School Manager segue l'anno scolastico. Ogni area riutilizza i dati già presenti nelle altre.
School Manager follows the school year. Each area reuses the data already in the others.
Prima si configura la struttura della scuola, poi si iscrivono gli studenti e si costruisce l'orario. Da settembre a giugno si tengono registro e presenze e si inseriscono i voti, fino alle pagelle, senza configurare o inserire di nuovo gli stessi dati.
First the school structure is set up, then students are enrolled and the timetable is built. From September to June the register and attendance are kept and grades are entered, all the way to report cards, without setting up or entering the same data twice.

Seguire le famiglie che chiedono di iscriversi, capire quanto costa il personale, gestire gli acquisti, tenere in ordine gli adempimenti sulla privacy: per ognuno c'è un modulo, pensato per lavorare insieme a School Manager e riutilizzare i dati che contiene. Sì, con template Excel: anagrafiche di studenti, referenti, docenti e personale ATA, aule; per i curricula si parte dai modelli già disponibili. Per ora non passano voti, documenti e foto. Con i dati pronti, la configurazione iniziale richiede meno di un'ora.
Yes, using Excel templates: records for students, contacts, teachers and administrative staff, and rooms; curricula start from the ready-made templates. For now, grades, documents and photos are not imported. Once the data is ready, initial setup takes less than an hour.

La formazione si fa durante la configurazione, con chi amministra School Manager nella scuola, e con un incontro di circa un'ora per docenti e segreteria, in presenza o a distanza. Dentro School Manager c'è una guida integrata, che si consulta in ogni momento.
Training takes place during setup, with the people who administer School Manager at the school, plus a session of about an hour for teachers and front office staff, in person or online. School Manager also includes a built-in guide, available at any time.
Che assistenza avremo?What support will we get?
Restiamo accanto alla scuola fino all'avvio e nei primi giorni di utilizzo. Dopo l'avvio l'assistenza continua via email: il tempo medio di prima risposta è di un'ora, il tempo massimo previsto è di 48 ore.
We stay alongside the school until go-live and during the first days of use. After go-live, support continues by email: the average first response time is one hour, and the maximum expected time is 48 hours.
